If you’ve been a subscriber to our newsletter for a while, you may have noticed (or not) that you haven’t received one in ~3.5 months. So, I wanted to provide a quick update on us and rest assured, some content will start flowing again (I know you were fretting).
I’m not really one for big announcements, but I am happy to share that Bigfoot has $50M of fresh capital to deploy into B2B software companies. The aim is to get at least $30M of it out this year. So…we’re eager to do some $1-$5M deals 🤝
With this, we’re looking to grow our team with folks who fit one of the below:
Biz dev/partnerships - This person is all about building up and nurturing an ecosystem and providing reciprocal value to it. They’ve been doing it for 3+ years in software credit or equity and can’t think of something else they’d rather do. For them, relationships come first and are developed and managed with a lot of energy, creativity and urgency. Fun gig with a lot of autonomy and opportunity.
Credit - This person will evaluate a lot of interesting opportunities and help manage those we end up financing. We’re looking for at least 2 years of experience underwriting B2B companies. Preferably they have experience with software companies and have operated in our size range (sub $10M financings), but we anticipate some training to get them up to speed on our approach.
With a small team, both roles come with a lot of opportunity for growth.
